General Instructions:
The correct level of free chlorine should be maintained for several hours prior to and during swimming activity
Chlorine levels and pH should be tested daily by use of a reliable test kit. Using fresh testing reagents.
If the pH falls below the required level add dry alkili. If it rises above, add dry acid or hypochloric acid.
Dose the pool in the evening when the pool is not in use. Dosage indicated are only a guide. Dose the pool and then test to ensure the required free chlorine levels are reached.
If stabilisers are present in the pool, stabiliser levels should be tested fortnightly by use of a reliable test kit. If 100 mg/l of stabiliser is exceeded the ability of the chlorine to control the algae, bacteria, viruses and protozoa is reduced.
SUPER CHLORINATION:
During the swimming season super chlorinate once per week. After super chlorination, the pH balance of your pool should be checked.
WINTER MAINTENANCE:
A super chlorination dose once a month is necessary to maintain your pool in good condition during winter.
CAUTION:

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
Store under cover in a dry, clean, cool, well ventilated place away from sunlight. Store and transportin an upright container. In case of spillage, flush with large quantaties of water.
CONTAINER DISPOSAL:
Rinse empty container in the pool/spa water before disposal. Dispose of empty container with household waste. DO NOT expose to temperatures below 0C.

Alka Boost
Recommended Range: Maintain total alkalinity between 125-150 ppm for optimal spa water balance.
Application Rate:
Use the chart below to determine correct dosage (see next worksheet)

Application Method:

1. Test water to determine current total alkalinity level
2. Calculate required amount of ALKA BOOST needed
3. Mix measured product in a clean bucket with water
4. Distribute solution evenly around spa with pump running
5. Run filtration system for at least 1 hour to ensure complete distribution
6. Retest water after 4 hours and adjust if necessary

IMPORTANT: If pH has been 6.8 or lower for an extended period and corrosion of metal fixtures is apparent, seek technical advice before adding this product as metal staining may occur.

Dual Clean
FILTER CARTRIDGE CLEANING

1. Turn off system and remove filter cartridge
   2. Rinse with hose to remove surface debris
   3. Dissolve 10gm Dual Clean per 1L of hot water in a large bucket
   4. Submerge filter completely in diluted solution
   5. Soak 3-24 hours (depending on soil level)
   6. Rinse thoroughly with cold water
   7. Reinstall cartridge and resume normal operation
   Clean every 1-2 weeks for optimal performance
   TIP: Purchase a spare filter to use while cleaning
   SPA PIPE CLEANING
   1. Remove cartridge from filter and clean separately
   2. Replace filter housing (without cartridge) to create water-tight loop
   3. Add 10gm of dissolved Dual Clean per 1000L of spa volume
   4. Run spa in recirculation mode for 15-20 minutes
   5. Drain spa completely (avoid running pump dry)
   6. Backflush jets with fresh water and rinse thoroughly
   7. Run clean water through system briefly and drain
   8. Reinstall clean filter cartridge, ensure water-tight seal
   9. Refill spa and balance chemicals as required
