This Balboa replacement motherboard is designed for use in GS510DZ, GS501DZ, and GS504DZ spa control systems. It serves as a direct replacement for OEM boards labeled 55251‑01 or 55416‑01, ensuring full compatibility with Balboa’s GS‑series electronic spa packs.
To ensure correct ordering, Balboa recommends matching the model number on the control system, which can be found either on the top of the control box or on the identification chip located in the lower‑right corner of the board. The part number printed on the lower‑left corner of many boards (commonly GS500Z) is generic and should not be relied on for confirmation.
This motherboard is only compatible with Balboa’s plastic control boxes and cannot be installed in older metal‑cased systems due to physical clearance and mounting differences.
